COURT HOUSE — Four members of Girl Scout Troop 43006; Skyla Bowyer, Alexandra Campbell, Cordelia O’Such and Lindsay Thornton, visited Cape Regional Medical Center Dec. 20 to personally deliver presents to the pediatric patients who might be hospitalized over the Christmas holiday.
“The brightly-wrapped gifts were chosen by the girls, and they were so excited to visit the Medical Center,” stated Sharon Siefken, Community Counselor. “No child should have to be away from their family during the holidays. So these young ladies wanted to make sure there was a little something extra to bring a smile to their face.”
“We are always amazed at the thoughtfulness and concern shown by the young people in our community,” stated Mary Beth DeCredico, Administrative Director of Maternal Child Health and Medical Surgical Units. “Our deepest gratitude and thanks is extended to Girl Scout Troop 43006 for spreading holiday cheer to our patients and their families.”
