CAPE MAY – The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) will host its Annual Meeting Thursday, Nov. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave. MAC members and members of the public are invited to attend.
A highlight of the meeting is a ceremony that will present MAC’s 2017 Honor Award to Frank and Beth Acker of Cape May. The Ackers have opened their historic home, the Cherry House, for numerous MAC tours over the years and have generously donated most of the proceeds to MAC. These tours have included Christmas Candlelight House Tours, Cheery Cherry House Tours and Holiday Inns Tours, among others.
The winner of the Cape May Getaway Raffle will be chosen and announced. The Cape May Getaway Raffle raises funds for MAC programs throughout the year and tickets are available for sale until the start of the Annual Meeting. The winner will receive close to $2,300 worth of Cape May gift certificates, which can be used at a wide variety of Cape May accommodations, restaurants, retail stores and attractions any time of the year, plus gift certificates to area shops and restaurants, and tours and event tickets. For information on purchasing raffle tickets through Nov. 9, call (609) 884-5404.
Find out what new and interesting things have happened in 2017 at the organization during Director Michael Zuckerman’s presentation of a slide show highlighting the past year at MAC.
The Annual Meeting is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
