Cape May County Freeholder Jeffrey Pierson is pleased to invite the public to the county’s annual Healthcare Resource Day at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The free event will showcase 40 different healthcare organizations and free health screenings. Various free seminars will be offered throughout the day.
“Come join us and explore all the health services Cape May County has to offer! Cape May County Healthcare Resource Day offers you the chance to explore a variety of health services under one roof. The event also gives you the opportunity to get your health in check by taking advantage of the various health screenings offered at this event,” said Kevin Thomas, Health Officer.
Admission and parking for Cape May County Healthcare Resource Day are free to participants. The free health screenings offered are courtesy of Parish Nursing and South Jersey AIDS Alliance.
Health screenings being offered are:
• Cholesterol Screening
• Blood Sugar Screening
• Fracture Risk Screening
• Peripheral Artery Screening
• HIV/AIDS Testing
Free health seminars will also be offered on dementia, line dancing, vaping, and a workshop for parents and children.
