By Lauren Suit

RIO GRANDE — Bad weather and high winds throughout the county caused many area fireworks displays to reschedule or cancel the planned July 4 show.
In Wildwood, the city’s annual July 4 fireworks display was rescheduled until July 6.
The fireworks are scheduled to go off Friday at 10:30 p.m. at Pine Avenue and Boardwalk.
In Cape May, the fireworks display was cancelled. The show will not be rescheduled.
In Sea Isle City, the fireworks display was rescheduled to July 6 at 9 p.m. on the beach at JFK Boulevard.
In Ocean City, the fireworks are postponed until July 7 at 9 p.m. This year’s display will be launched from a barge off the beach at Sixth Street.
