Final Lighthouse Adventures Cruises Slated August-September

CAPE MAY — The 14- Foot Bank Light in Delaware near Bowers Beach is not visible from land, but can be seen aboard the Spirit of Cape May during its final Delaware Bay Lighthouse Adventures on Saturdays, Aug. 28 and Sept. 18 and Friday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.
Each cruise not only offers superb lighthouse viewing and photo opportunities, but also includes narration on Delaware Bay lore and legend, and information on fishing, spawning grounds and more. This cruise includes a complimentary breakfast and lunch. A cash bar is available.
The Spirit of Cape May departs from the Miss Chris Marina, Second Avenue and Wilson Drive. The cruises on Saturdays, Aug. 28 and Sept. 18 are seven hours and are $99 per person. The cruise on Fri., Oct. 15 is five-hours long and is $85 per person.
Seating is limited to 175 passengers. If a cruise is not sold out in advance, the remaining tickets will be sold at the dock 30 minutes before departure. Free parking is available at the marina.
