CLERMONT — The Cape May County Association of Realtors has announced that John Feketics of Oceanside Realty in Wildwood Crest has been selected as the association’s 2009 Realtor of the Year.
Feketics is being recognized with the award for the effort and good work he has expended in the real estate profession and in the community.
Although Feketics has been a Realtor only since 2002, his accomplishments in real estate and the community are stellar. Recognized for five years as a New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Winner, Feketics feels it is his ability to anticipate his clients’ needs as well as his industry and market knowledge that are the keys to his success as a Realtor.
Professionally, Feketics has earned the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), CRS (Council of Residential Specialists and RSPS (Resort and Second Home Specialist) Realtor designations.
As a Cape May County Association of Realtors golf committee member and current chair of its annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, Feketics helped raise over $80,000 since 2004 for Cape May County graduating seniors wishing to further their education.
It is through Feketics’ tireless effort and strong leadership that drives committee members to make each golf tournament even better than the previous year.
A lifelong resident of Wildwood and graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School and Cabrini College, Feketics enjoys spending his free time with his wife Patricia and children Patrick and Megan.
When not spending time with his family he can be found fine tuning his golf game.
Along with all the Realtors of the Year selected by New Jersey local boards/associations of Realtors, Feketics will be honored by NJAR at the NJAR Awards Session during the Triple Play Realtor Convention and Trade Expo in Atlantic City on Dec. 8.
