COURT HOUSE – Erica Fischer, Patient Registration Clerk, has been honored with the Service Excellence Award at Cape Regional Medical Center for her friendly, happy and outgoing personality and for always making patients feel comfortable and welcomed.
“Erica is always pleasant, helpful and courteous to our patients, visitors, volunteers, physicians and other team members. She thinks about what is best for the patient experience. She approaches each task with enthusiasm and an open mind without ever complaining. Her efforts in pre-admission testing have aided in implementing process improvements and a better overall experience for our Same Day Surgery patients. She has eagerly accepted the assignment to cross-train in Pain Management, which is a very challenging role, in addition to her responsibilities in Admissions, Front Desk, Outpatient Registration and Pre-Admission Service. Erica is a valuable member of our team who truly deserves this honor,” stated Heidi Horner, Director of Patient Access.
“I love my team members and the patients we serve in Patient Registration. Cape Regional Medical Center is an amazing organization. Thank you so much for honoring me with the Service Excellence Award,” stated Ms. Fischer.
Erica Fischer has been a member of the Cape Regional Team since 2010. Erica lives in Petersburg with her two children, Amelia and Talon. The family loves to hike and go to the beach. She is an active member at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Somers Point.
