COURT HOUSE – The Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary’s Early Education Center has been awarded re-accreditation from the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation. The accreditation is valid through Dec. 1, 2019.
NAEYC Accreditation demonstrates continued commitment to program quality improvement and is a mark of quality in early childhood education. The accreditation report received by Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary’s Early Education Center noted “commendations” in the areas of relationships, teaching, assessment, health, teachers, families, community relationships, leadership and management.
“On behalf of the children and families who are provided care at the Early Education Center, I would like to congratulate the entire Team for achieving re-accreditation from NAEYC. Re-accreditation takes a tremendous amount of planning and work,” stated Byron Hunter, Vice President of Human Resources. “Cape Regional Health System, and the community we serve, values the commitment and dedication of the entire staff at the Early Education Center under the leadership of Anne Goodman. Thank you for providing an educational foundation for our little ones.”
The Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Early Education Center (EEC) opened Oct. 1, 1990. The center was made possible by the committed efforts of the Auxiliary, Board of Trustees, Physicians and Administration of Cape Regional Medical Center. The EEC is now open to members of the community as well as the employees and medical staff of Cape Regional Medical Center.
