Dollar Tree, VFW Collect School Supplies for Military

By Press Release

NORTH WILDWOOD — Generous Cape May County residents and vacationers were very busy this year in making donations of school sup-plies at “Dollar Tree” Rio Grande and North Cape May.
Supplies collected were distributed to military contacts at the USCG Base Cape May, 253 Army National Guard Court House, and liaison personnel for needy in Cape May County.
The collection program ended July 25 and is only successful through the efforts of “Dollar Tree” North Cape May store manager Steve and Rio Grande store manager Dan and their store per-sonnel.
The primary goal is to provide school supplies to children of active mili-tary with excess given to those serving the needy.
Cape May County North Wildwood Post 5941 Commander Joe Orlando and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Cape May Post 386 Secretary Hilda Or-lando were in charge of collection, sorting and distribution.
Thank you and thank “Dollar Tree” for all they do to help our military and needy,” said Orlando
