CAPE MAY – Demolition of Convention Hall and the Solarium began Monday Nov. 29 at 8:30 a.m.
By midday, the front portion of the Solarium was removed and a large hole was made in the front of Convention Hal demolishing the lobby area. Bulldozers crushed the stage and other interior features and pushed the debris towards Beach Avenue where a line of Dumpsters are located.
The demolition is being handled by Albrecht and Heun of Court House.
