CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – David S. Cho, M.D., Radiation Oncologist at the Thomas and Claire Brodesser Cancer Center at Cape Regional Medical Center, has been selected by Castle Connolly as a ‘Top Doctor’ of Cape May County for 2016. Dr. Cho joined the Cape Regional Team in May, 2012 and serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Cancer Center.
Dr. Cho received his Bachelor of Science in Bioelectric Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He then received his Medical Doctorate from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University. He began his post-graduate education with an internship at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. Dr. Cho completed his education with a residency in Radiation Oncology at New York University where he served as Chief Resident in Radiation Oncology. He performed senior electives at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in both brachytherapy and pediatric radiation oncology and at the Division of Radiation Oncology of Mt. Sinai Medical Center, New York in LDR prostate brachytherapy.
Dr. Cho’s clinical experience includes serving as Medical Director for Radiation Medicine as part of Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Ithaca, New York for six years where he served as the Primary Investigator for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. He holds academic appointments at both the Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the University of Buffalo.
