Crochet for Christ Provides Handmade Gifts for Newborns at Cape Regional

Jennine McNeil

By Press Release

Members of Tabernacle United Methodist Church’s Crochet for Christ have worked diligently to make booties with matching hats and blankets for newborns at Cape Regional. Thanks to Crochet for Christ, new mothers will receive handmade gifts for their newborns to go home with.
Jen Bolton, the creator of Crochet for Christ, provides the opportunity for anyone who enjoys crocheting or knitting to join together in fellowship the second Friday of each month in TUMC’s basement for one hour, from 7 to 8 p.m. All interested in learning are welcome. Jen says the joy of the group is to create special projects and see their hard work go out to the community.
