WILDWOOD – As you walked into any Crest Savings Bank branch or office on Fri., Oct. 19, employees were dedicated to raising money by wearing jeans to work or ordering cupcakes for just $5.00. On Sun., Nov. 4, Crest Savings Bank employees and SOCS also organized their own Breast Cancer walk to raise funds, which took place on the Wildwood Boardwalk.
No, it was not a coincidence, or anything of the sort; it was a scripted and collaborated effort of about one hundred employees who wanted to show their support by helping families who are dealing with cancer. The reason behind the coordination was to make a donation to our local Cape May County Survivors of Cancer organization.
Together, all events raised $2,500. The event was a huge success, coordinated by Sherrie Gardler of Crest Savings Bank.
