Crest Savings Bank Helps Feed the Hungry

By Press Release

WILDWOOD CREST – Hunger is a year-round struggle. We open our hearts and give generously around the holidays, which is a tremendous help for those in need. Unfortunately, local food pantries such as the United Way still need more to supply its clientele with year-round sustenance.
To help address this need, Crest Savings Bank had been holding a Spring Into Action Food Drive. The bank’s eight branches collected enough non-perishable food items to take the pantry through another few weeks.
“It really doesn’t take much; we ask our 100 or so employees to each bring in one item and if they all do, we are well on our way to having a successful drive, and that’s without the donations we receive from our generous customers.” stated Susan Biggs.
If you would like to support the United Way of Cape May County in its efforts to feed the hungry, call 729-2002.
