County Workers Gather Food for Area Needy

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — Cape May County government employees sponsored their second annual food drive for the needy from Nov. 20 to Dec.16.
Initiated by Margot Murphy of the county Treasurer’s Office and other county employees, non-perishable food was collected.
A large truckload was delivered on Dec. 17 to Holy Redeemer Home Care’s Jersey Shore Pantry in Swainton.
Many of those who contributed were not included in the accompanying photograph, which was submitted by County Clerk Rita Fulginiti.
