County Realtors Present Scholarships to Local Students

SWAINTON — Seven Cape May County students received a $2,000 scholarship and two Cape May County Schools for Special Service’s students received a $1,000 gift each from the Cape May County Association of Realtors while their families and friends watched at Sand Barrens Golf Club here June 6.
One graduating senior was picked from seven county high schools.
The students who received scholarships were Allison Kolodi from Wildwood High School (attending Atlantic Cape Community College); Patrick Miller representing Lower Cape May Regional High School (attending George Washington University); Padraic Roney representing Cape Christian Academy (attending Atlantic Cape Community College); Sarah Sheet graduating from Cape May County Technical High School (attending Atlantic Cape Community College); Kimberly Baker graduating from Ocean City High School (attending Stevens Institute of Technology); Allison Perrotta from Middle Township High School (attending The College of New Jersey); and Michael Hand from Wildwood High School (attending Longwood University) who won the CMCAR’s Christina P. Clemans Scholarship.
CMCAR also awarded two $1,000 gifts to Cape May County Schools for Special Services for two worthy students: Kayla Sloan (Cape May County High School); and Amanda Parris (COMPACT) to help them further their education.
The Cape May County Association of Realtors annual Scholarship Golf Tournament held at the Wildwood Golf and County Club on May 7 funded the scholarships and gift.
