COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will hold their next business meeting Sept. 29 at Wildwood Golf and Country Club.   The speaker of this meeting will be Steve Sanborne from the Thomas H. Heist Insurance Agency and Chairman of the Chamber’s Insurance Committee to discuss new compliance requirements for businesses and municipalities regarding the Affordable Care Act.
Effective Jan. 1, 2016, as part of the ACA, the definition of a small business group changes from 51 to under 101 eligible employees.  Additionally, the 2016 transitional relief is only available until October and early renewals may be available for some subscribers.  This program will specifically address what businesses and municipalities must do in order to be in compliance with this new phase of the ACA.
Check-in and networking begin at 11:30 a.m. with the lunch program starting at 12:00 noon.  Wildwood Golf and Country Club is located at 1170 Golf Club Road in Cape May Court House.  Pre-registration is required and reservations may be made online at www.CapeMayCountyChamber.com or call 609-465-7181 x104.
