County Chamber to Host NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness Speaker

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will host Detective Lauren Laielli as the speaker of the Chamber’s July 21 lunch meeting. Detective Laielli will inform businesses on the use of the TripWire Program.
The New Jersey Counter-Terrorism TripWire Program is coordinated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the New Jersey State Police. The program provides businesses with threat-related situational awareness; informs businesses of who to contact in the observance of suspicious activity; and explains the interaction of multiple law enforcement agencies in order to generate tips and leads on possible terrorist activity.
The Chamber’s lunch meeting will be held at Bobby Dee’s Rock ‘N’ Chair in Avalon with check in beginning at 11:30 a.m. Prepaid reservations required. Visit www.capemaycountychamber.com/events to register.
