CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE—The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will hold the next Monthly Business Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20 and recognize four members who celebrate 25 years of membership, five members for 50 outstanding years of membership and six members who have reached the incredible 60th anniversary of membership. This luncheon will take place at Two Mile Restaurant with pre-paid reservations required.
“It is an honor to recognize these businesses and organizations who have been members of the Chamber for such a long time” reported Maura McMahon Primus, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. “The support of businesses who have been members of the chamber for 25, 50 and 60 years speaks to the value they realize as members of the Chamber and their long-standing commitment to the business community in the County. The Chamber is proud to be the advocate and voice of business in Cape May County.” Of the Chamber’s 800 members, 185 businesses have been members of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce for more than 25 years.
Members to be recognized for 25 years of membership are: TAC Printing & Marketing Services, CASA Payroll Service, Reeves Motel and United Way of Gtr Phila & Southern NJ. Members celebrating 50 years of membership include: Crusader Oceanfront Resort, Pan American Hotel, Township of Upper, Holly Shores Camping Resort and Comcast Business. Reaching their 60th Anniversary of membership are: Atlantic City Electric Co., City of North Wildwood, Borough of Stone Harbor, Borough of Avalon, Sturdy Savings Bank and South Jersey Gas.
The guest speaker for this meeting will be Clint Plummer from Deepwater Wind who will be speaking about a utility-scale offshore wind farm planned for the federal waters off the coast of New Jersey, Garden State Offshore Energy is a partnership between Deepwater Wind and PSEG.
