COURT HOUSE —The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce is ranked as the sixth largest chamber of commerce in New Jersey reporting 910 members, according to the Feb. 1, edition of NJBiz Magazine. This annual list ranks the top 50 chambers of commerce throughout New Jersey.
The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce includes all types of businesses in county and throughout Southern New Jersey, and represents the business perspective for its members on local, state, and national concerns such as transportation, tourism promotion, legislative matters, and business education.
“We saw a slight loss in our number of members during 2009,” reported Vicki Clark, president of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, “however, we experienced an increase member participation at events, seminars, and business networking opportunities throughout the year.
“Businesses in Cape May County view chamber membership as a sound investment for marketing opportunities and business seminars, especially during the current national recession.”
