COURT HOUSE – The Affordable Care Act is changing the landscape of the healthcare industry and the Cape May County Chamber has taken a hands-on approach to providing the business community with the knowledge and tools that employers and individuals will need to successfully make decisions regarding healthcare benefits.
The Chamber’s seminar series continues on Sept. 10 with a session that will cover the Individual mandate and health coverage in the Marketplace (exchange); Subsidy versus Small Groups; Understanding HRAs; Small Businesses in the Marketplace and Up to date status on who is required to do what, when.
Two sessions will be offered and pre-registration is required. A morning session will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Atlantic Cape Community College, Cape May County Campus and a late afternoon session will be held at Avalon Links Restaurant from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This seminar is sponsored by AtlantiCare and light refreshments will be available at each session.
