County Chamber Education Foundation Selects Bob Mullock as 2018 Golf Tournament Education Honoree

By Sponsored

CAPE MAY — On June 14, 2018 the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation will present the 4th Annual “FORE” Education, Foundation Fundraiser Tournament. This year the tournament will be held at Cape May National Golf Club and will offer the opportunity to play golf, dine, compete and network while honoring Robert “Bob” Mullock, the 2018 Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation Honoree.
“In 2015, with the establishment of the Education Foundation, the Chamber strengthened its commitment to furthering education opportunities within Cape May County as well as its support for students pursuing higher education after high school graduation,” according to Vicki Clark, President of the Chamber and Executive Director of the Education Foundation. “Our annual golf tournament provides an excellent event to raise scholarship funds while honoring an individual in Cape May County who has had a major impact on expanding and improving educational opportunities in Cape May County.” Clark continued, “Much of Mr. Mullocks support for education is done quietly and never becomes public knowledge, but it is always impactful.”
“A day on the golf course is a fun and great way to support education, not only for local students but for businesses and professionals alike,” said Leon Costello of Ford Scott & Associates and Chairman of the Foundation’s Golf Committee.
Registration to play or sponsor the golf tournament is available at www.capemaycountychamber.com/golf and includes food and beverages on and off the course as well as entry into four skills contests where prizes will be offered. Education and Business Advocates are welcome to register as single golfers or as pre-arranged two-somes and four-somes.
Check-in and warm up on the driving range will be open that day beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. RSVPs are required and must be made to the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce by Thursday, June 7, 2018.
