County Chamber Announces Beautification & Conservation Award Winners

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will present the organization’s 2011 awards at the 67th Annual Meeting and Installation Dinner on Oct. 20 at The Wildwoods Convention Center.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce our 2011 winners for outstanding beautification and conservation contributions to Cape May County,” reported Chamber President, Vicki Clark.
Out of a total of 46 nominees, the Chamber is announcing the 45th Annual Beautification Awards to the six winners as follows: New Construction (Business) –Tony Luke’s, Wildwood Crest; New Construction (Non-Profit) – Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 955 and American Legion Post 184 for the Korean War Memorial, Wildwood ; Renovation (Business)- Ocean Club Hotel and Sea Salt Restaurant, Cape May ; Renovation – The General Store, Cape May Point; Renovation – Excursion Park Entertainment Complex, Sea Isle City; Landscaping – The Wetlands Institute, Stone Harbor.
The 19th Annual General Conservation Awards winners are The Borough of Avalon, Avalon Carpet, Tile & Flooring, Carroll Villa Hotel & Mad Batter Restaurant, and Bridget O’Connor, Cape May County MUA. The 19th Annual General Conservation Awards are sponsored by Cape Regional Medical Center, Hatch, Mott & MacDonald, The Lomax Consulting Group LLC, and New Jersey American Water.
