COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting scholarship applications from high school graduates planning to pursue a college education. This year’s program introduced an online application process.
Applications are due by April 4, 2014 and can be accessed on the chamber website www.CapeMayCountyChamber.com. Interested students can complete the application by clicking on the scholarship button on the right side of the chamber’s webpage.
“Our scholarship committee understands that today’s students live in a world that communicates through technology, and utilizing an online application form not only is more consistent with how students relay information but is also much more environmentally responsible”, according to Vicki Clark, Chamber President. Each year the Chamber awards $5000 in scholarship money to Cape May County students.
The application criteria requires that students must be or have been employed by a business that is a member of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, or their parents or guardians must be employed by or own a member business. Eligible students must also be a resident of Cape May County. Additional criteria can be found on the application.
