COURT HOUSE – Time is running out to nominate local businesses for the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification and Conservation Awards. Award presentation will be held at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Installation Dinner Oct. 16.
The Beautification Awards program originated in 1967 and recognizes businesses and organizations who have demonstrated their dedication to Cape May County by improving the appearance of their properties. Please submit nominations for businesses/organizations that have completed an exterior or interior project during the past year that beautifies the surrounding community. Private homes are not eligible. Self nominations are encouraged.
The Conservation Awards program began in 1992 and recognizes commercial prosperities whose conservation efforts have demonstrated natural resource conservation, green business practices and/or community leadership leading to the preservation of Cape May County’s environmentally sensitive natural surroundings. Businesses may nominate their own business. Sponsors of the Conservation Awards this year are A.D. Marble & Company and Rutala Associates, L.L.C.
