Mark your calendar — Country arrives in Cape May County on Saturday, June 4 with the Grand Reopening of the Country Club Tavern (CCT).
Join in the celebration starting at 3 p.m. with live country entertainment by Mott Creek Pickers, James Isaac Rose and Kenny Young with giveaways all day long.
CCT’s renovations provide the establishment with a rustic country theme that is carried throughout the bar, liquor store and new dining area with new flooring, walls and décor.
The new casual country dining area is family-friendly and offers a little buckaroos’ (children’s) menu which includes grilled cheese, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and chicken nuggets — all of which are served with curly fries and applesauce.
The new dining area seats approximately 50 and you have your choice of a booth or table.
You won’t miss a game of your favorite Philadelphia sports team while socializing with your friends as the tavern’s bar area now has eight flat screen televisions which can be viewed from the bar or one of the new high top tables.
The Country Club Tavern has expanded their menu to include every type of Reuben from corned beef and turkey to ham, roast beef and grilled chicken, specialty sandwiches such as the Annie Oakley, hot ham with pineapple, Swiss and honey mustard on a steak roll, the True Grit, cheddar roast beef dip with horseradish sauce and au ju on a steak roll, the Buffalo Bill, buffalo blue grilled chicken wrap, and much more.
CCT favorites are also on the menu, their famous wings, steaks and cheese steak sandwiches, as well as many others.
In addition to the decor, you will find the liquor store has been expanded and moved to the front of the tavern for convenience and now offers a vast selection of cold beer including domestics and imports as well as the ever popular craft beers.
The liquor store’s wine selection has grown to include the currently popular moscatos, a sweet white wine, and malbecs, a dry red, expanding their already large wine selection.
Country Club Tavern is located at 1512 Route 9 North in Swainton. For more information call 609-465-1515.
