Colleen’s by the Sea in Wildwood Cuts Ribbon at Grand Opening Celebration

The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

By Sponsored

The public, press and local officials attended the grand opening celebration of Colleen’s by the Sea on Thursday, July 14, 2016. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce hosted a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the new business to the Wildwoods. Colleen’s by the Sea provides an upscale steak and seafood dining experience with casual elegance that the entire family can enjoy.
Colleen’s by the Sea offers an extensive menu with everything from their famous Hercules Cut (bone-in prime rib, 3 pounds or more!) to seafood pescatore (sauteed fresh scallops, clams, calamari, mussels, jumbo shrimp and fresh whitefish fillet over pasta) to classics like baked ravioli. Everything on Colleen’s by the Sea’s menu is made fresh with care. Only the finest cuts of meat and the freshest seafood are served by Executive Chef, Les Friedman, who has been in the industry for over 40 years. He was the former Executive Chef at Colleen’s in Philadelphia and the Savoy in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Colleen’s by the Sea also offers a wine list that is as extensive as their dinner menu.
Owners Frank and Joanne Daccardi and Dominic and Rose Dandrea held a soft opening in June after they refurbished the interior of the restaurant, giving it a beachy feel in the downstairs dining room and bar. The upstairs dining area will serve as a ballroom for private parties, banquets, celebrations and events with seating for 125. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal and a fresh fruit martini on the outside deck. Happy Hour is offered at the bar from 4 to 6 p.m. daily along with weekly live entertainment. Colleen’s by the Sea is open seven days a week year-round from 4 p.m. The restaurant is located at the former Neil’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant at 222 E. Schellenger Ave. in Wildwood. Make your reservation today by calling (609) 854-3822.
