Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May Announces Candidate Forum

The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May is pleased to announce its Candidate Forum for this coming Cape May City election on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. At stake this year is one council seat and the election for mayor. 
Announced to be running for the council position at submission of this release is Patricia Gray Hendricks, a Cape May realtor and Zack Mullock, Vice President of Cape May National Golf Course. Incumbent Mayor Edward Mahaney and retired Police Lieutenant Clarence (Chuck) Lear have submitted their candidate packets and will be competing for the mayoral position.
The Chamber of Commerce candidate forum committee will be conducting the questioning and moderating this event. It will be held at the Grand Hotel in Cape May at 1045 Beach Ave., in the 5th floor penthouse ballroom. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to the community. Questions from the audience can be submitted to forum committee prior to the intermission. Seating will be limited to the first 300 people.
