By Herald Staff

PLEASANTVILLE – BH Media Group has announced it will become sole owner of Catamaran Media Company, LLC. Terms of the transaction, expected to close in September, were undisclosed, according to a report from ShoreNewsToday.com.
Catamaran Media publishes various media in South Jersey, including weekly newspapers in Cape May County (The Wildwood Leader and the Gazettes of Cape May, Middle Township, Upper Township and Ocean City), weekly newspapers in Atlantic County (The Currents), seasonal newspapers along the shore (The Sandpaper, Freetime) and related digital media.
With their August 2013 purchase of The Press of Atlantic City, BH Media Group acquired an initial half interest in Catamaran Media; the other 50 percent remained under the ownership of Rick, Curt and Gail Travers, according to the ShoreNewsToday report. The sale was announced to employees on Friday morning, Sept. 12.
