By Press Release

To celebrate the Carroll Villa Hotel and Mad Batter Restaurant’s 40th anniversary (2016), the hotel and restaurant received a total face-lift and fresh look. The Mad Batter’s European-style porch is now enclosed with Plexiglas framed-in wood with ornate brackets, so diners can now enjoy the porch year-round. Additionally, the porch received an interior redesign, a new floor plan and extra seating. Outside, the addition of a flat roof makes the building look more like it did a century ago. The inside portion of the restaurant and hotel also received updates and additions.
On Wednesday, May 24, Carroll Villa and Mad Batter’s owners and staff celebrated the official grand reopening of the new front porch.
