Car Seat Donation Delivered to Cape Regional’s Maternity Department

COURT HOUSE – Dianna Day, Extension Officer, Kate Carr, President, and Mary Conley, Treasurer of Xi Beta Pi, a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Women’s Group, recently delivered five brand-new car seats to the Maternal and Child Health Department at Cape Regional Medical Center.
“We are very pleased to make our annual delivery of car seats to Cape Regional Medical Center,” stated Dianna Day. “This is our way of showing our appreciation to the staff at Cape Regional’s Maternity Department and to make sure that every family has a brand-new, state-of-the-art car seat to transport their newborn home.”
“We are so grateful to the Xi Beta Pi organization for their commitment to the safety of the newborns at Cape Regional Medical Center. This is the 20th year they have faithfully donated these beautiful car seats. We want to express our thanks,” stated Mary Beth Decredico, RN, BSN, Administrative Director of Maternal and Child Health Services.”
The Beta Sigma Phi International Women’s Group was created in 1931 and has 165,000 members around the world. Their members raise more than $3 million for local charities and donate over 200,000 volunteer hours in an average year.
