COURT HOUSE – Cape Visiting Nurse Association (Cape VNA), a joint partnership between Cape Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNAHG), announced today its approval by the New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services as a licensed Hospice provider. Since its opening in July of 2010, Cape VNA has provided Cape May County residents with home health care services including nursing, rehabilitation therapy, home health aide care, home infusion, medical social work, private duty and live-in services, as well as many community-based programs.
Hospice offers a comprehensive, compassionate approach to care for people nearing end of life. Cape VNA Hospice Services will focus on patient quality of life and symptom management through the use of a team-oriented approach to patient care that includes a Medical Director, Registered Hospice Nurses, Medical Social Workers, Certified Home Health Aides, Spiritual Counselors, Therapists and specially-trained Volunteers.
“Hospice is an essential component of end-of-life care which will benefit the residents of our community,” stated Joanne Carrocino, FACHE, President and CEO of Cape Regional Medical Center.
“What makes Cape VNA unique is our ability to provide patients with the care they need across their lifespan,” stated Wayne Whelan, Executive Director of Cape VNA. “The addition of Hospice will offer patients and their families needed support and comfort during their end-of-life journey.”
Villas – I guess Kamala Harris was just too honest, too intelligent and too sane of a person to win an election in a racist, sexist, backward country like America.
