Cape Visiting Nurse Association Appoints Clinical Supervisor

COURT HOUSE – Kathleen A. McLeer, RN, has joined Cape Visiting Nurse Association (Cape VNA) as Clinical Supervisor/Nursing Liaison.
As the Clinical Supervisor/Nursing Liaison, Ms. McLeer will be responsible for assessing patient’s total care needs and coordinating referrals for home care and hospice services. She will also ensure the coordination and continuity of healthcare needs as patients transfer to home care from the hospital, long term care or sub-acute rehabilitation center care.
Ms. McLeer comes to Cape VNA from Temple University Health System where she held several nursing management roles including Performance Improvement Manager for Nursing Education, Operations Manager for Temple University Pulmonary Research Program, and Physician Liaison of the Temple Lung Center.

Ms. McLeer earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, PA. She is certified in Gerontology.
Kathleen and her husband, Kevin, recently relocated from Philadelphia, PA and now reside in North Cape May.
