Since opening its doors on May 1, 2006, thousands of Cape May County residents and visitors have received medical care for injuries and illnesses at Cape Urgent Care, at the bottom of the Garden State Parkway at the entrance to Cape May.
Cape Urgent Care is an independently owned facility providing walk-in medical care with no appointments needed. Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week (holiday hours may vary), Cape Urgent Care is currently the largest provider of workers compensation care and occupational medicine in the county.
Many forms of insurance are accepted. X-ray is available on site and procedures such as suturing, IVs and splinting are done routinely.
Physicals for work, school and scouts are also performed at Cape Urgent Care.
Board certified physicians, an experienced nurse practitioner and physician assistant, and a full staff of professionals are there to serve patients.
Dr. William Weisberg, medical director and founder of Cape Urgent Care, has over 20 years of emergency medicine experience, and is joined by Dr. Kenneth Cramer who also has an extensive emergency medicine background.
Their goal is to provide excellent medical care in a professional, caring and compassionate manner. Their philosophy is to treat patients like family and friends.
According to Weisberg: “That’s what makes it special to work here.”
