Cape Regional Medical Center Receives $10,000 Grant

Cape Regional Medical Center Receives $10

By Press Release

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE OceanFirst Foundation of Toms River has awarded a $10,000 grant to Cape Regional Medical Center which provided sponsorship support to Cape Regional’s Home & Home and Health Show and the Warren L. Buckingham Memorial Golf Tournament. Both of these events were held during the summer months and all proceeds benefited Cape Regional Medical Center Surgical Services.
“We wish to extend our grateful appreciation to OceanFirst Foundation for their generous support and sponsorship of these two fundraising events,” stated Tom Piratzky, Executive Director, Cape Regional Foundation. The Home & Health Show provides over 500 free health screenings to the community each year and showcases both health and home vendors in Avalon on the second Saturday in August. This year’s Home & Health show raised over $162,000 to benefit surgical services at Cape Regional Medical Center. The Warren L. Buckingham Memorial Golf Tournament, held at Stone Harbor Golf Club each year, raised over $60,000 for surgical services at the Medical Center.
For more information on the Cape Regional Foundation and how to become involved in these two events, please call Thomas J. Piratzky, Executive Director, Cape Regional Foundation at (609) 463-4042.
