Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Continues Their 60 Year Legacy of Giving With $100,000 Gift

COURT HOUSE – During the Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary’s 60th Anniversary Annual Meeting held on Nov. 3, 2011, Lynne Krukosky, Auxiliary President, presented Joanne Carrocino, FACHE, President and CEO of Cape Regional Medical Center with a $100,000 check in support of the Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) renovations.
“The four branches of the Auxiliary are pleased to present Cape Regional Medical Center with this check for $100,000”, stated Krukosky. “The members of the Auxiliary continue to work hard on many fundraising projects, and we look forward to completing our $1 million pledge.”
The Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary announced their pledge of $1 million toward the Intensive Care Unit Renovation in June, 2009. To date the Auxiliary has already made payments of $700,000 toward the pledge. The new ICU opened in July, 2011.
“We are very grateful to the many members of the Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary who contribute so much of their time and talent for the betterment of our community hospital,” stated Carrocino. “On behalf of the entire Medical Center Family, we thank you for all your efforts for the past 60 years and congratulate you on the Diamond Anniversary of the Auxiliary!”
