CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary recently announced the installation of their new officers for 2016-2017.
Marie Sluberski was installed as the 34th President of Cape Regional Medical Center‘s Auxiliary. Susan Handron was installed as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee, and in January 2016, Marge Carter will be installed as Secretary. The Board commended Lynne Dubler for her leadership as President of the Auxiliary from 2014-2015 as Ms. Dubler passed the gavel on to Ms. Sluberski.
“It is an honor to be installed as President of the Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and to follow in the footsteps of so many successful past presidents. We look forward to an exciting two years as we continue our support of Cape Regional Health System,” stated Ms. Sluberski. “The Auxiliary members are enthusiastically working toward completing our $1 million pledge to the Cancer Center Capital Campaign. We are also actively planning the 41st Annual Antique, Art and Collectible Show held on Memorial Day weekend as well as the Annual 7 Mile Island Home and Health Show and Designer House Tour scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016,” Ms. Sluberski continued.
Cape Regional Medical Center Auxiliary was founded in 1951 by women and men throughout Cape May County who united to provide financial support for expanded healthcare services at Cape Regional. In addition to the Auxiliary Board which sponsors the operation of two EtCetera Shops, each branch of the Auxiliary plans activities throughout the year. All monies raised by the Auxiliary and its affiliate branches support projects at Cape Regional Medical Center. Currently, the Auxiliary is supporting the Thomas & Claire Brodesser Cancer Center at Cape Regional with a $1 million pledge.
