CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Every Thursday from October through April, First Baptist Church (FBC) of Wildwood, NJ, under the leadership of Pastor James Elliott, reaches the Wildwood community with a hot lunch and warm fellowship. For the past five years, members of Cape Regional Health System’s leadership team and Auxiliary have extended a helping hand at the church to serve lunch over the holiday season. This year, Cape Regional served at the New Year’s Eve luncheon held on Thursday, Dec. 31. In addition, the team provided goodie bags to the children. First Baptist Church was very grateful for the Health System’s continued commitment to providing assistance during the busy holiday season.
“First Baptist Church of Wildwood invites local businesses and community groups to host their weekly luncheon, providing the food and serving the guests,” stated Thomas Piratzky, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at Cape Regional Health System. “The service that Pastor Elliott and the members of First Baptist provide to the community of Wildwood is inspirational and heartfelt. Their church community genuinely cares for the people of Wildwood and seeks to meet both their spiritual and physical needs. It is a privilege to help during the holidays with their weekly luncheon,” Piratzky added.
