Cape Regional Health System Announces New Medical Staff Officers

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – The Board of Trustees at Cape Regional Health System has announced new Medical Staff Officers for the years 2016 – 2017. Donald Tomasello, M.D., FACS, has been elected President of the Medical Staff and serving with him is Joseph Milio, D.O., FACOG, Vice President, and Antonio Thalassinos, D.O., Secretary/ Treasurer. 
“As President of the Medical Staff, I am fortunate to be part of a team of exceptional professionals. As we move through the next two years, we will continue to provide high quality healthcare for the community we serve, and support Cape Regional Health System in their mission, vision and service standards,” stated Donald Tomasello, M.D.
“On behalf of the entire Cape Regional Medical Center team, I congratulate Drs., Tomasello, Milio and Thalassinos on their leadership roles. We look forward to working together to serve our community and provide high quality, state of the art services,” stated Joanne Carrocino, FACHE, President and CEO.
Dr. Tomasello received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, Pa. and is Board-Certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Milio is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed both his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kennedy Memorial Hospital-University Medical Center. He is Board-Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Thalassinos received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. His internal medicine internship was performed at UMDNJ-Kennedy Memorial Hospital, N.J. He completed his internal medicine residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. and an anesthesia residency at Temple University Hospital.
