COURT HOUSE – On Dec. 19, Joanne Carrocino, President & CEO, Tom Piratzky, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Julie Paolella, Director of Volunteers Services, Volunteers Joan Troiano and Pat Dunleavy of Cape Regional Medical Center provided the first grade class at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in Wildwood with holiday cheer.
This marks the sixth year that members of the Medical Center have provided gifts to the first grade students for the holidays. Each student received a book, a hand knitted hat and scarf and a pair of gloves or mittens.
“The entire team at Cape Regional Medical Center is pleased to provide some holiday cheer to the Glenwood Avenue first graders. Our volunteer knitters and hospital team members contributed to the one hundred plus sets of gloves, mittens, scarves and hats. In addition, the Books Are Fun organization made a generous donation of fun, child-friendly books for the students,” stated Carrocino.
“The smiles and joy that these gifts bring to the students of Glenwood Avenue Elementary are priceless,” stated John Kummings, Principal of Glenwood Avenue Elementary School. “We greatly appreciate the generosity of the staff and volunteers at Cape Regional.”
