By Press Release

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – BAYADA Home Health Care and Cape Regional Health System (CRHS) today announced that they have entered into a joint venture to provide Cape May County residents with high quality, community-based home health care services through a new company: Cape Regional Home Health Care | Managed by BAYADA.
Effective immediately, BAYADA and CRHS are working together to provide in-home care for high-risk patients following hospital discharge. Cape Regional Home Health Care | Managed by BAYADA comes as part of a growing trend in which hospitals are partnering with home care agencies that have the expertise and experience to successfully manage care at home for patients who are at high risk for re-hospitalization.
“We are thrilled to enter into this joint venture with Cape Regional Medical Center to serve the needs of Cape May County residents,” said David Baiada, BAYADA’s Chief Operating Officer for Home Health, Hospice and Quality. “Our 41 years of expertise in home health care make us uniquely qualified as a partner to enhance quality care in the home, reducing the risk of hospital readmissions. We look forward to working with Cape Regional Health System to provide care as we always do—with compassion, excellence and reliability.”
“Home health care is a lower-cost and preferred option that has been proven to keep patients out of the hospital and safe at home,” said Joanne Carrocino, Cape Regional Health System’s President and CEO. “As a result of this partnership, our patients will benefit from our commitment to serving the community and BAYADA’s extensive experience in providing high quality home health care services.”
Cape Regional Home Health Care | Managed by BAYADA provides short-term nursing and therapy to help patients recover after an illness, injury or surgery—reducing the risks of re-hospitalizations. Significant growth is expected over the next several years due to the increased demand for in-home, post-discharge services.
