Cape Insulation Celebrates Quarter Century

Celebrating their 25th anniversary on Sept. 13, 2010, Cape Insulation was founded in 1985 by Daryl Coach and Bill Szathmary Jr.
Cape Insulation is an independent insulation contractor serving commercial businesses and residences for all of South Jersey, Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties.
Cape Insulation has grown to become South Jersey’s leading insulation contractor and installs insulation products in new and existing homes, multi-family buildings and commercial structures.
The company is a private, family owned and operated business. Daryl Coach is the owner/president and has his two sons working by his side, Pete, who is in Sales, and David who is working as an installer.
You can expect quality work from start to finish, providing you with a free estimate and with a clean job site when it’s finished. Cape Insulation bags and removes all debris from the work site. Most importantly, Cape Insulation guarantees their work.
Cape Insulation began in Cape May Court House, moved to Ocean View in 1989 and in 2007 expanded to include warehouses and office space at its current location in Dennis Township at 458 Woodbine-Ocean View Road, Ocean View.
Cape Insulation offers three types of insulation: fiberglass batt, blow in loose fiberglass insulation and the newest on the market, spray foam. Spray foam insulation is available in closed and open cell varieties with closed cell being the preferred form of spray foam. Spray foam insulation is becoming more and more popular with shore properties due to the storms and flooding experienced along the coast.
Whether an employer or an employee, we all understand the importance of loyalty and the experience and dedication with which that brings to a business. Cape Insulation is proud to have three employees who have been with the company for 23 years– Scott Edwards who has recently been named the Regional Best Insulator in America and who will be competing at a National competition in Las Vegas later in the month, Tom Beebe and Steve DePalma.
Cape Insulation has built its reputation on the quality of our installation work. They maintain an on-going education and training program for all employees, and participate in a company-wide safety program, Safety Matters, developed by the leader in a safety industry, J. J. Keller, for Insulate America.
Cape Insulation has been active in many area associations: New Jersey Builders Association, Dennis Township Chamber of Commerce, Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, Insulate America, and the Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA).
