Cape Christian Academy Students Inspired by MAC Visitor

By Press Release

Dr. Robert Heinly from the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) visited Cape Christian Academy on Oct. 16, 2017. He delighted our pre-K through second grade students with nursery rhyme songs such as “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “Old MacDonald,” and the story “Flossie the Flounder.” He engaged our third through 12th graders with our rich, local history which included the first time the “Pledge of Allegiance” was spoken in New Jersey. He discussed American heritage music and played “America the Beautiful” and “God Bless America.” Thank you for inspiring our students, Dr. Heinly!
