Cape Bank Sponsors Workshops on Increasing Profits as a Destination Business

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – Cape Bank is sponsoring workshops in Atlantic and Cape May Counties on “Increasing Sales & Profits As A Destination Business.” Renowned Marketing Expert and Small Business Strategist Jon Schallert, who for more than two decades has coached small business owners on how to increase sales and profits during tough economic times, will present the workshops.
Schallert will share his proprietary, 14-step “Destination Business” model, which was successfully adopted by Hallmark as part of a national marketing campaign that helped turn around their retail stores. The workshops will be held on Tue., Nov. 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Wildwood Convention Center, in Wildwood, NJ, and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point, NJ.
Registration for the workshops, which are co-sponsored by the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association (MBCA) and the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), is just $25.
“In today’s economic environment, business owners are looking for every advantage as they attempt to boost their sales and profits,” said Chick Pinto, Cape Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “At Cape Bank, we realize small business owners have limited resources. By working with the local chambers, the MBCA and New Jersey SBDC, we can make an expert like Jon Schallert available and affordable for a host of local businesses.”
The workshops are geared towards any business owner, retailer or entrepreneur interested in learning the strategies needed to improve their businesses during the current economic down turn. Attendees will receive in-depth instruction and strategies on how to turn their businesses into uniquely positioned destinations, each capable of generating increased foot traffic by pulling in customers from well beyond their immediate marketplace.
Registration for the workshop is $25 for person. For more information or to register contact: Cape May County Chamber of Commerce at www.capemaycountychamber.com or by calling 609.465.7181; or Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce at www.acchamber.com or by calling 609.345.4524.
