Cape Assist is now welcoming individuals 51 and up to participate in the next installment of its W.I.S.E. Program, a wellness initiative focusing on older adults.
During the seven virtual sessions, participants will receive valuable information and resources to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The group setting allows participants to meet like-minded individuals and offer support and encouragement as needed.
Held on Monday afternoons throughout June and July, the sessions will provide tips for healthy choices, including what behaviors to avoid, safe practices regarding alcohol, prescription, and over-the counter medications; and simple tools to take charge of your own healthcare.
Group dates: June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27
1 to 2 p.m. on Zoom
While the program is FREE, spots are limited so pre-registration is required. Participants will receive a care package and two $25 gift cards once the course is completed.
To register, contact Alana at (609) 522-5960 or alana@capeassist.org.
