WILDWOOD – Cape Assist’s Executive Director Lynne Krukosky has announced her plans to resign effective February 2017 due to personal health issues, according to a release.
Krukosky, who dedicated 27 years of service and commitment to the non-profit organization, has already begun to plan for a transition by appointing an acting director to serve in this position.
Krukosky plans to continue to support the agency by offering her knowledge and experience to her successor, while supporting the agency’s mission of furthering education and counseling to substance abuse prevention and treatment for those coping with addiction in Cape May County.
Katie Faldetta has been named the acting executive director and will work directly with Krukosky throughout the transition while the Board of Trustees conducts a formal executive search for the position’s permanent replacement.
Faldetta will assume responsibilities of day-to-day operations and help to support the organization’s goals, focusing on programming, education, and advocacy that supports families in the county.
“Lynne has been instrumental in helping to grow our organization to new heights, and her accomplishments have helped to create a bright future for Cape Assist. Although we are saddened to receive Lynne’s resignation, we are so very grateful for all of her incredible contributions. Our Cape Assist family will continue to build on Lynne’s many accomplishments and, as we embark on our new endeavors, we wish Lynne the very best,” stated Faldetta.
