GREEN CREEK – King Nummy Trail Campground in Green Creek is no longer a local business. The 561-site campground is part of Thousand Trails Inc., a national company that owns over 80 campgrounds and recreational vehicle (RV) resorts in 22 states and Canada.
King Nummy is the fourth campground property in Cape May County to be acquired by Thousand Trails. The others are Sea Pines RV Resort and Campground in Swainton, Echo Farms Campground in Ocean View and Lake Shore RV Resort, also in Ocean View.
Thousand Trails is one of two brands operating resorts and campgrounds for a multi-billion dollar real estate investment trust, Equity Lifestyles Properties based in Chicago, Ill.
