WILDWOOD CREST – The 2013 Boardwalk Basketball Classic tournament proceeds were recently donated to one of its two recipients, Wildwood Catholic High School, of which they received $7,000. The Boardwalk Basketball Classic is strictly a not-for-profit event that raises college scholarship money. It is the largest coed basketball tournament in the Country. All those involved with the planning, organization and execution of the tournament are volunteers who donate their time to this worthy cause. All proceeds from the tournament go to the college scholarship funds at the host high schools, Wildwood and Wildwood Catholic. The Boardwalk Basketball Classic has raised over $165,000 in scholarship money since its inception in 1998.
