COURT HOUSE — Registered Nurse Suanne Bernacki has joined the Learning and Development team at Cape Regional Medical Center as a clinical learning specialist.
Prior to her appointment, Bernacki worked for the Holy Redeemer Health System as a field supervisor, quality nurse, and staff development educator.
She also served as a clinical instructor at Holy Family University and as assistant professor of nursing at Atlantic Cape Community College.
Bernacki received her Masters of Science in Nursing with honors from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, Pa.
“Our Learning and Development Department provides orientation, continual learning opportunities and enrichment resources for the entire team at Cape Regional Medical Center,” stated Byron Hunter, vice president of Human Resources, in a release.
“In doing so, they demonstrate the medical center’s commitment to maintaining a learning culture. Continuous learning is fundamental to clinical excellence and the delivery of outstanding care. Suanne’s rich blend of education, teaching, and clinical experience translates into a quality educational resource for our staff and superior quality of care for our patients and community. We are excited to welcome Suanne to the Cape Regional Medical Center family,” Hunter added.
Bernacki and her husband Walt live in Cape May, and have two grown children.
