COURT HOUSE —Suanne Bernacki has achieved board certification in Nursing Professional Development from the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC).
The American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association (ANA), provides individuals and organizations throughout the nursing profession with the resources they need to achieve practice excellence.
In addition, ANCC provides leading-edge information and education services and products to support its core credentialing programs.
Bernacki joined the Cape Regional Medical Center team in January, 2009 as a Clinical Learning Specialist. Prior to her appointment, she worked for the Holy Redeemer Health System as a Field Supervisor, Quality Nurse, and Staff Development Educator. She also served as a Clinical Instructor at Holy Family University and as Assistant Professor of Nursing at Atlantic Cape Community College.
“Suanne has been a wonderful addition to our team,” stated Byron Hunter, vice president of Human Resources. “She brings a high level of experience and expertise to our Learning and Development Department. Her latest achievement emphasizes her commitment to continuing education. We are very proud of her accomplishments.”
Bernacki received her Masters of Science in Nursing with honors from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania.
“Achieving my board certification in Nursing Professional Development is a personal milestone that I am just thrilled about,” stated Bernacki. “I look forward to continuing to provide quality educational resources to our staff at Cape Regional Medical Center,” she added.
Bernacki and her husband, Walt, live in Cape May, and have two grown children.
